Original Stanley Box Sextant with Peephole

 Mid-1800’s Stanley Co. London Box (Pocket) Sextant with Peephole Sight. High quality and functionable box (pocket) sextant. Complete original- mirrors, lenses, shades intact with no cracks. Unlike many sextants, this sextant features a second knob near the adjusting tool which functions as the telescope bracket screw. This sextant features a peephole and nib for peephole slide, offering the option to add a telescope. Black oxidized and lacquered brass finish, with German silver scale and Vernier. The sliding index arm is attached to the adjustable arm bracket. which connects the magnifier. Comes with detachable top cover (can be screwed on as base as well).
