Antique Bronze Ottoman Kohl Flask

Early 19th century Islamic Ottoman, Arabic Bronze Eyeliner Flask. Used for Kohl powder eyeliner, this antique Persian-style eyeliner well was purchased in Iraq. This Surmadani Kajal (small eyeliner container) has a convex bell, housed in one of the appendages.  

*Surma and Kajal are both Eyeliner types- with Surma being a powder derivative of Kohinoor; and Kajal, a thin paste made from antimony powder.
