Original W.F. Stanley Box Sextant

 Mid-1800’s 'Stanley London' Box (Pocket) Sextant. Made by W.F. Stanley. High quality and functionable box (pocket) sextant. Original piece- with mirrors, lenses, and 2 index shades being completely intact with no cracks. This sextant features a control knob, adjusting tool, and screws for side error adjustment. Black oxidized and lacquered brass finish, with German silver scale and Vernier. The sliding index arm is attached to the adjustable arm bracket. which connects the single lens magnifier. Comes with bayonet fitting lid (can be screwed on as base as well).
