This is a modern version of Robert Hooke's 1667 Pendulum Anemometer; a fascinating device that allows for precise pressure and windspeed measurements without need of electricity. Utilized during the Antarctic Division by civil engineers in WWII, this vintage type M.1991/A aneroid barometer features a calibrated steel base and arms, with aluminum wind vane numbered 0 to 14, and hollowed brass ball.
