'Perko' Solid-Brass Onion Lantern with Protective Guard by Perkins Marine Lamp & Hardware Corp., made in America, 1940. A soldered wire guard protects the blown 8-inch globe. The base holding the lamp is detachable by means of bayonet joint. All original piece features internal oil burner with a vented chimney and carry ring. 'PERKINS 8' can be seen in raised glass on globe. Unrestored, original piece.
** One cage-guard is missing, original class has one isolated star crack**
