18th Century Solid Brass Triple-Wick Dutch Lucerna (Whale Oil Lamp)

A fine early Dutch Lucerna with three spouts which likely burned with whale oil. All-brass snuffer, tweezers, and extinguisher are attached by hand-made chains. A rounded 5" base supports a tube with ovular handle atop for ease of use. The reservoir is adjustable in height and can be removed by unscrewing the handle and sliding reservoir up the tube. 

This solid brass piece has a fantastic collectors patina (complimentary polishing is available if preferred at customers request). Made in The Netherlands around Amsterdam. Circa mid-late 18th century (possibly older).
