These interesting Peg lamps feature impeccable hand-blown font lamps in rich Russian red. Fantastic quality. Featuring the imperial seal of Tsar Alexander I of Russia, The Romanov Imperial Double-Crested Eagle. Commissioned for personal or official use inside a royal palace, apartment, administrative building, or presented as a gift from the royal family family.

Fine, museum-quality mid-19th century English table lamp with removable reservoir, single-burner, & articulating eyelet. Complete with its original key, hand-blown glass chimney, and outer milk-glass shade. An extremely fine, custom-commissioned piece. Pre-dating Hinks's 1865 'Duplex' invention. An early and exceptional piece.
